About
Manas Choudhary
I work at the convergence of Markets, Startups, and Frontier Engineering—bridging applied engineering physics and physical systems with techno-economics, energy transition, and deep-tech venture building.
My foundation began in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Specialization) at Delhi Technological University (DTU), where I spent years testing hardware prototypes and modeling automated systems. That work led to peer-reviewed publications across SAE International, the UC Berkeley World Congress on Engineering, and industrial journals on fuel cell economics, automated guided vehicles, and sorting robotics.
I subsequently joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and later EY-Parthenon, advising leadership teams on industrial goods, decarbonisation, and technology transitions. Rather than generic corporate strategy, my focus has consistently gravitated toward hard technical bottlenecks: why hydrogen mobility adoption is held back by midstream logistics rather than stack efficiency, how satellite foundation models can algorithmically verify deforestation for EUDR compliance, and how manufacturing floors evaluate automated robotics.
During my MBA at the Indian School of Business (ISB) as a Merit Scholar, I worked with i-Venture advising early-stage startups in climate tech, battery chemistry, and deep tech—evaluating where genuine scientific defensibility ends and commercial engineering begins.
